How Strangeparts Made Own iPhone in China – ipasm.com
How Strangeparts Made Own iPhone in China; Strangeparts went on a challenge to build a renovated iPhone 6S completely from parts bought in street markets in China. Strangeparts decided to create an iPhone 6s instead of an iPhone 7 because Strangeparts already owns an iPhone 6s that was purchased from an Apple store which could be compared with to see if the challenge is successful. According to Strangeparts there are 4 main components to creating an iPhone; these 4 parts are: 1) the Shell; 2) the Logic Board; 3) the Battery and finally 4) the Screen. The Shell is mainly the back and sides of the iPhone. Strangeparts initially wanted a grey colored Shell, the same color as the iPhone Strangeparts already owned but opted from a rose colored Shell due to availability issues. The Logic Board is the brain, the motherboard that has the memory, the processor, and other wonderful stuffs that makes the iPhone works. The Battery is what powers the iPhone. And finally the Screen, Strangeparts wanted to install the Screen but to do this, specialized equipment is required, a workaround was to buy a broken screen from a phone repair stall which was easy to install. What an interesting adventure by Strangeparts.

I think this was very innovative. Like how you’ve documented the whole experience. I wish I could do this. Would love to see your assembled iPhone 6S probably even buy it, if I can afford it. This video was worth my time. How much did you spend in total buying parts?
how much he spent?
